I have been in the NZ Police for nearly 20 years. I have spent most of my earlier Police career as an investigator in the Waitemata Police District Family Violence Team. I have been a Police Specialist Child Witness Interviewer for the last 10 years. My role includes interviewing children, young people, and adults with special needs about serious physical abuse and sexual abuse. I have been involved in developing and delivering child interviewing training to Police and Oranga Tamariki.
