I was raised in the bustling metropolis of Kaikohekohe under the care and guidance of my grandfather, Te Waimārama Waata Henare, whom I attribute the majority of my learnings in te āo Māori that have grounded and enabled me to have a focus on hauora from a mātauranga Māori lens. I am humbled to hold the current position as the Pou Tikanga for the Puawaitahi Multi-agency.
